Help Support McKinney Family Hosptial Stay

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my beautiful sister-in-law, Shauna McKinney, has been in the hospital since March 24th. She is currently about 23 weeks pregnant with their third child, a little boy. While celebrating her daughter’s 4th birthday she felt light bleeding and went to the hospital to make sure everything was okay. She was then transferred via ambulance to Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo to be near the NICU Unit.

Shauna has a rare case of Placental Abruption, and she has been told she must stay in the hospital until baby boy comes. She cannot leave the hospital floor and cannot go home to her family during this time. The specialist said this is one of the most serious cases of placental abruption they have seen, and she is doing everything she can to keep baby boy safely in her belly. She also has 2 other complications – a folded placenta and 2 tubes feeding the baby instead of three.

My brother, who works full time, has been managing their two other children (5 and 4), along with all household chores – cooking, cleaning, pick up and drop offs for kids, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. While also driving 40 minutes one way multiple times a day to support and be there for his wife.

They both have a strong faith and trust in God and are leaning on him during this difficult time of many unknowns. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help with all the unexpected costs associated with this type of hospital stay - Hospital bills, childcare needs, meals, transportation, gas, etc. Even after the baby in born, there is a long expected NICU stay for him and mom as well.

Any little bit that you can donate would be so helpful for there family! Thank you!
