Help McKenzie Hunter Beat Cancer!
This page is being set up by friends from South Jersey Christian Academy for a beautifully, amazing little 4 year old girl named McKenzie Hunter.
On September 13th, McKenzie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. She had been having fevers and leg pain. After multiple doctor visits and her parents being strong advocates with an intuition that something wasn't right, bloodwork was finally done. She has spent the last week at CHOP going through tests, pokes, and prods that no child should have to encounter. She has a long, difficult road ahead of her and has already begun chemotherapy. Her parents have put their lives on hold to be right by her side every step of the way, but the sad reality is that even though their personal life is at a standstill during this nightmare; the world keeps spinning. Bills will keep coming, expenses will continue, and all they have ever asked for is prayer. While we all know the amazing power of prayer, we also know the reality that in these situations families also need financial blessings. McKenzie deserves the best care possible without her parents having to worry about finances.
In addition to your prayers, we are asking that if you can, or if God has given you the provisions to help, would you please consider showing this amazing family your support. Every little bit is a little less her family has to worry about.
McKenzie has blessed our SJCA family in many ways. She is an amazing daughter, granddaughter, big sister to Madden, and an identical twin to Morgan. She deserves to live life to the fullest! She has the biggest heart, always has all of us saying aww with her adorable shyness, and lights up at the mention of anything Frozen.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and McKenzie's story has definitely made all of us aware. Thank you for listening to her story and thank you for your support in prayer, thoughts, financially, and otherwise.
