Hello All,
My name is Jonathan. I am a friend of Charlie, and have been involved in Max and Avery's life since they were born. My Mother met Carl 12 something years ago who has been Charlie's best friend and has been friends of the entire Peterson family including Charlie's two brothers, Nicholas, and Teddy. He was essentially the 4th Brother to the family. I had met Charlie when I was about 13/14 years old. Charlie has always taken me under his wing when I was younger and I have always respected Charlie in many ways. I have obviously known Max and Avery since they born and had an amazing relationship with Max and watched Avery grow since she fresh out the oven. When I graduated Highschool in 2010 I joined the United States Marines, and was away for 4 Years. When I returned home in 2014, obviously Max was now young boy, and at that point every time Charlie would come over to see Carl and my Mom, he would bring the kids over. Max was older and I was a "MARINE". We would hang out, and just keep the kids entertained. Max and I had a very similar relationship, to Charlie and I in many ways. That is why Sunday when I received a call from my mother, I know I couldn't just sit idle. Those kids have gone through so much, and I loved Charlie - I knew I had to do something. I, like friends and especially Charlie's family have been so overwhelmed with the loss of Charlie and how Max and Avery are coping with this tragedy. Carl, and of course Mother & Sister have all developed special and amazing relationships with Charlie's family, and only want the to provide the family with respect, and one less thing to worry about.
After speaking with Charlies family, I wanted to start this campaign to set up The MAX & AVERY PETERSON Education Trust Fund to be established under the Estate of Charles Maxwell Peterson III in the loving memory of Charlie for Max and Avery.
* 100% of funds raised will be directed to the above trust, upon establishment of trust
I have received consent from the family to establish this campaign for setting up this campaign, and only hope to assist the family transition and cope with everything that is happening.
Charlie M. Peterson, was and is an amazing father, and has always been an invaluable asset to his entire community. They have been through so much, and no family should have to go through this, let alone with the Holiday's around the corner.
So I ask, in the memory of Charlie and love for his children I am asking all Family & Friends to please help with what ever you can, or at the very least, please give this campaign a share. This campaign and the thought of everything is a painful one to write, but it should be told, for everyone to know how much of an amazing father, brother, son and friend he was. At the end the of the day if we can take just a grain of pressure off the family and concentrate on Max and Avery, as well as doing all I can do for Charlie to look down and know we will always have Max and Avery's back. NO MATTER WHAT.
Charlie, passed away Sunday morning - It is sudden and not expected at all. He was a single father and leaves behind his two amazing children. Max & Avery were and are Charlie's whole entire world. He loved those kids with everything he had, and it always showed. Charlie, Max and Avery did not deserve this in any shape or form. Those children are without their rock and I am hoping our community can show some support. Charlie was an amazing father, when many men would walk away, especially the trial and tribulations that Charlie faced, he stood up and stood up tall. I truly personally respected Charlie so much, and I know Max and Avery looked up to him like no other! He was the absolute definition of Super Dad when it came to loving and caring for his children.
Charlie was a tall and kind soul with just an amazing all around demeaner. Max & Avery have been through so much - Charlie is the 100% provider, and for Charlie I want him to know his kids will always be looked after. They are like family to me, and again as Family live out of state, it has made the situation and transitions so more difficult. Everyone is taking precautions and are Social Distance as protocol and going forward I know many have reached out in regards to Christmas gifts. Due to COVID, we ask out of respect for the family to either reach out directly to immediate family if you are close, and or reach out via this channel I promise to do my best to coordinate and assist with anything I can. Those poor kids can't even get a damn HUG because of COVID! Its not about the money, and no amount will ever replace Charlie, however money should be the last thing anyone is dealing with especially, those kids.
Please - $1, anything would mean the world to me and especially Charlie's family. I have been around the world, I have moved around numerous times as a child and have met many individuals in life. The one thing I do know is many of the men I met were not like Charlie. Especially my father. The way I saw it, is he got "Father" of the year, every year. From Hockey, to Dance, from here to there, working, cleaning, everything. Charlie did it all! I was raised by a single Mother and I know what it's like watching a parent raising two children, alone. Especially dealing with a boy and a girl. Again, this campaign is in the memory of Charlie. It is not for the money, but it is the least I can do for my and family's good friend Charlie and the whole Peterson family.
Lets do the best we can do for Max and Avery! In the memory of their loving father.
100% OF THESE FUNDS ARE GOING TO THE TRUST FOR AVERY AND MAX IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF CHARLIE PETERSON. NOTHING WILL GO TO ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN THE BENEFIT OF MAX AND AVERY + CHARLIE'S FUNERAL EXPENSES.
We are all social distancing - we are in an Epidemic - again this was sudden, and unexpected - but everyone is taking precautions. The poor kids have been through so much - I want to make sure they are as comfortable an taken care of as possible. I have watched them grow since they were babies and with the holidays around the corner, things cant get any worse. Please all I am asking is if you can share or spare anything you could! You'd really be making a difference for a little boy and girl, and the whole Peterson family.
Thank you.
In the Loving Memory of Charlie Peterson.
