Hi all my animals and people loving friends! As most of you know, I have recently been spending a lot of time at Maui Animal Farm and taking care of pigs, tortoises, horses, donkey, goats, sheep, rams, chickens, ducks, roosters, bunnies, guineas and birds. Our fearless leader with a heart of gold, broke her ankle in multiple spots last week. This has completely incapacitated her. She is now scheduled for surgery On Friday.
Now we are here. As her hanai ohana to hui together and hp her heal during this incredibly stressful and PAINFUL time.
During this time, a bunch of us volunteers have got together to Make sure the farm is taken care of, where there has been a significant loss in revenue from tours and private tours of the farm. Which, In turn, lead to significant overhead to feed and care for our animals.
Heidi has developed a program for autistic children and therapy. She has Developed therapeitic educational, cultural, historical, social, recreational adn ecological programs that will use a multi-disciplinary equestrian facility in ways that benfit the entire West Maui community.
