Matt's fight against cancer
Our beloved cousin, Matt Salles, is one of the most loving, hardworking dads you will ever meet. He has five beautiful children (including newborn twins!) and an amazingly strong, caring wife. We are blessed to call them our family.
This past year Matt has been fighting the toughest fight of his life. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer last August and underwent surgery to remove the malignant tumor just weeks before his wedding day. Shortly after Matt and Cassie got married they found out they were expecting twins! Matt then found out the cancer had spread to his periaortic sac (against his aortic artery) and he would have to go through chemo. For the past several months Matt has undergone treatments and returned to work right away so he could take a few days off when the twins were born. But just last week Matt found out that the chemo didn't shrink the tumors and
he will have to undergo another surgery at Stanford on July 20th to remove them.
We have started this Gofundme account to help his family with medical costs and the other financial burdens this horrible disease has brought upon his sweet family. We're asking for your donations to help them through this tough time. We all know the battle with cancer is a tough one, and that it can be lengthy. Any amount is sincerely appreciated!
