Support Matt's Fight Against ALS

The Rothwells were met with devastating news in June. Matt was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This is a progressive neurological disease that causes muscle weakness and gradually impacts the functioning of the body. This disease was brought to the forefront two years ago with the “Ice Bucket Challenge” which brought awareness and renewed hope in the ongoing research to find a cure. Hopefully, Matt can benefit from the breakthroughs in ALS research and the funds the challenge provided to support families with ALS.

Many have reached out wanting to help Matt, Lauren, and their four kids, Ryan, Nikki, Caitlin, and Tori. They will need renovations to their Atkinson home in order to meet Matt’s medical needs as the disease progresses. As a community, this is where we can make the most impact and together raise funds to make this project a reality.

The Rothwell's are one of the most deserving families due to their generosity, kindness, and positive community impact throughout the years. Matt and Lauren have raised four acomplished and compassionate children while succeeding in their personal careers.
