Matt Mitchell is a loving husband, an amazing father, and a loyal friend, who takes great pride in being a SA firefighter. He and his wife Christy have lived their lifes taking care of others and putting others needs before their own. The flooding in Wimberley Texas this past  month really hit Matt hard and he was passionate about spending every spare moment he could in Wimberley helping the community get back to some kind of normalcy as quickly as possible. On Saturday June 20th Matt was cutting a tree with his chainsaw when another large tree came down on top of him from behind. Matt was pinned between 2 large trees. Matt was flown to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin where he has a crushed pelvis, broken ribs, and spinal damage. Matt has a long road to recovery and will need all the help we can give him. The sheer passion that Matt lives his life with everyday to serve others, well it's our turn to give it all back. Please help me ensure that Matt and his beautiful family are taken care of during what will be a rough road ahead.
