A message from the family (26/11/19 Kirsty, Teigan, Debbie & Mike):
On the 24.11.19 Our dear Matty was in a horrible unforeseen accident whilst working on his Block with Dad that has seen him end up in ICU with a shattered C4 vertebrae and severe damage to his spinal cord, a place he will remain for the next 6-12 months as he works on his recovery. We have come together as a family and are still trying to process the enormous impact this will have on all our lives.
Our family is still in a great amount of shock and our main priority is stabilising Matts Health and the lives of his precious family, Kirsty, Piper and Luna. Everyone’s support and love is so greatly appreciated.
As we are, and we are sure everyone else will be in such disbelief and sadness, we ask that our privacy is kept in mind as we are still trying to work our way through our grief and shock. All your messages have been received with love and your offers of assistance are greatly appreciated and we would like to take those offers up at a later date.
Please bombard this post rather than Kirsty personally, while she loves and appreciates each and everyone’s messages of love and support, it’s quite overwhelming for her and all her focus needs to be on her babies and Matty. When we are able, more information will be sent out.
