The Big Payback- Matt Stock Edition

 

Matt Stock has always done it big. In many ways, at many times, for many people.

 

 

He has a big smile when you walk into Cool Cats, or at least a big joke about how they’re closing and you need to get out.

 

 

He has a big love for blazers at Belk, and a big propensity to wear em proud the minute there’s a formal enough event to get fresh.

 

 

He has a big love for the community, and helped start the Southender, so you know what big things are happening around our special island.

 

 

He loves classic cinema so much, he decided to take on management at Coligny Theatre, and bring some of the classics back to the big screen.

 

 

He coordinated and brought some of our favorite funny guys and girls on the island together for the first real local comedy tour, to bring everyone big laughs.

 

 

And now, he’s got a big surgery he needs. And it’s time for the big payback.

 

 

Whether he’s served you drinks, laughs, or just his larger than life friendship, it’s time we all say thanks.

 

 

Matt needs a knee surgery, and is coming out of pocket on this one, or plans to. We don’t know how much that costs, but your shitty tips at Cool Cats aren’t about to cover this thing. Matt would never ask a thing of anyone, except what you need. So it’s our turn to give him what he’s not asking for at all.

 

 

So, think for a moment about anytime you’ve talked to Matt, or read something he put out to help a fellow local, or just been in his presence. You know he’d do big things for anyone he knows. It’s our turn for The Big Payback.
