Dear Friends and Family,

We recently found out that my brother, Matt, has stage 4 bone cancer.  The prognosis is not good.  He has 2 broken vertebrae in his spine and cannot work or drive. 

First and foremost, we need your prayers.  Prayers for his health, and prayers for our relationship.  Secondly, we need financial help.  It's not like me to ask for help...let alone financial help...but I am asking...We need to raise some funds immediately to help him with co-payments, medicine, transportation to treatment, and every day living expenses while we work through the paperwork needed to get him assistance through his job and potential disability. Unfortunately, I am not able to help much logistically or financially at this point because of proximity and my career change so I'm asking if our friends and family would help us during this difficult time.  

It would be great if we could also arrange visits, meals, or assistance with transportation from our friends in the Spokane area.  I think Matt is feeling pretty alone right now.  Gift cards for groceries would also be appreciated.
