Matt Severinac was hospitalized in late September 2020 with a foot injury that resulted in an infection. Since he is a diabetic, this injury came with complications, leading to the amputation of his right leg just below the knee.

Matt is taking this all in stride and has a fantastic attitude. The next few months will entail resting and healing from the amputation, learning to get around with a prosthetic leg and other aides, ensuring his home is accessible and navigating all the other unknowns as he gets his life back on track.
