Hello everyone! Once again Matador Aeronautics , the Aerospace Engineering emphasis in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Cal State University, Northridge is competing at the SAE Aero Design West International Competition. The purpose of the competition is to provide undergraduate senior engineering students with a real-life engineering challenges and compromises of designing and manufacturing remote-controlled cargo aircrafts.

As opposed to last year’s competition that was held in Van Nuys, California in April, this year it is in Fort Worth, Texas, and it is one month earlier; it is in March. This is where we need your help! We need funding in order for our team members to travel, stay at a safe hotel near the competition area, and to ship out our plane that weights 55lbs with a 13ft of wing span over to Texas.
