Josh wrote- "We lost my brother, my best friend, my children's uncle and the heartbeat of our family. He was only with us on this earth for a short 22 years but managed to pull a smile out of everyone he met. Mason was a very talented artist and that was apparent from a very young age. He won school art competitions and would dip in to every different medium he could get his hands on, whether that be charcoal, water color, oil paints, or just a pencil. He loved making things better and he was amazing at it. When he was 15 he got his first tattoo gun and machine and my parents only stipulation was 'no tattooing people, only grapefruit and practice skins.' As soon as they left the house I hopped on the bed, pulled up my shirt and at 15 years old he gave me his first tattoo. Today, almost 8 years later, he has become one of the best and most well known artists in Baton Rouge and has made his mark on nearly everyone I know. My brother loved everyone. He didn't have enemies and he could make friends with anyone he encountered. He had such and huge heart and he loved children. My heart aches for my 3 children who ask me every week when they will get to see Uncle May May. He was everyone's favorite person."
