Tuesday Jan. 20th 2015 , an erratic driver caused a crash with the Martinez family that killed one person and injured five others . 

David Martinez, 14, was ejected from the minivan and was pronounced dead at the scene.Martinez was riding in the van with five of his family members who were taken to local hospitals.His cousin, Natalie Loya, 22, is currently in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital.
His sister, Veronica Martinez, 19,is also in critical condition ;his father, Albert Martinez, 43; his grandmother, Irma Martinez, 67; and grandfather Ernesto Martinez, 67, are in stable condition.
The crash occurred on Ernesto's 67th birthday.
