Marnie’s Leukemia Medical Expenses

My dear friend Marnie has had cancer in the past and received news today that she has really low platelet counts and will need to have a bone marrow biopsy to determine if she has cancer again or if it is just a bad infection. Since her platelets are so low the doctors have asked her not to work for fear if she gets any cold, flu, or vital infection she will not be able to fight it. Marnie is a single parent and only has her income. We are trying to help her cover expenses for insurance, copays, deductibles, travel, and some living expenses until they can determine a plan of action for her. Thankfully she does have medical insurance and some PTO time to use. We are praying for a good outcome but we won’t know anything for sure until the biopsy results are back.
