Mark's Family Mission

My friend, Mark, works in the cafeteria in my building at Merrill Lynch. As I’ve gotten to know him, he’s shared with me that his family is in Indianapolis, IN and he’s working to not only pay his own expenses, but to support them as well while he tries to save up enough money to move them to Jacksonville, FL. A couple weeks ago he told me that everything was coming together and he was going to be able to fly to Indianapolis, pack everything up, and drive them down here by the end of the month.

Unfortunately, his wife, Serena, (who is medically disabled) had to have an emergency appendectomy on Sunday. Not only does this cause added stress to Mark because he can’t be there with her, but it now delays the plan of moving them down because of the medical expenses. The plan to move them down is now unclear and there’s no defined timeline of making everything happen until they can pay the medical expenses.

I want to show Mark that there are people out there that care about him enough to help out when he needs it most. I’d love nothing more than to gain your support to rally around someone who genuinely deserves it!
