Hello everyone, my name is Ashley de la O, currently residing in Madera/Fresno area working as a full time nurse and caregiver for my husband. I am making this goFundme for my husband Mark who has been diagnosed and battling ALL Leukemia since February of this year. Mark had his first appointment with Stanford hospital on August 11th, 2025 with the devastating news he will need to recieve what's called a BMT transplant. BMT transplant is a procedure where a patient receives healthy blood forming stem cells from a donor to replace their own diseased or damaged bone marrow. (Hence where his cancer is). This procedure is EXTREMELY high risk, and can come with many symptoms and complications. Mark will be gone a total of 4 months. 1 month in the hospital and 3 months in a apartment or hotel since 3 months afterhe is in the most critical state and needsto be close to Stanford in case any

emergencies occur. We were made

aware that it will need to be private

paid. With all the medical bills, co-pays,

and life circumstances that we have

been going through this is not feasible

for us financially to move forward with

this at this time. The longer we wait to

recieve this transplant the higher the risk

he is to have his cancer return and return

as a different type of Leukemia which is

NOT what we want as his current level is

0. I humbly ask for everyone to come

together and help us get my husband

this transplant that can save his life. To

continue to allow him to be free of this

disease once and for all. To continue to

be here with his children, family and

friends and to begin to actually LIVE A

LIFE FREE OF DISEASE. Mark is the most caring, loving, gentle person I know. A wonderful husband, father to our 4 chiIdren, son, brother and friend and if you ever had the opportunity to know him and meet him you would know first hand what type of person he is.
