Mark Framstad’s Funeral
Donation protected
Mark Henry Archer Framstad, born August 10, 1952 at 11:51 pm at Methodist Hospital, Madison, WI and then shed his mortal existence on this earthly plane on April 25, 2018 at 3:12 AM at the UW Hospital, Madison, WI after his lifetime battle with heart disease won. To my surprise, this last battle came on too fast and caught us unaware and unprepared.
Mark's interests and life experiences were so wide and varied its hard to list them all. But his qualities of intellect, sensitivity, and empathy were displayed in his work as a teacher, scholar, healer and counselor. He was a gift to me and our 26 years together were way too short.

As an avid animal lover, he did volunteer work at the no-kill shelter for felines in Stoughton, WI, Country Animal Haven. Needless to say, a few of our fur babies came from there! 10 cats were rescued and cared for with his large Leonine heart.
But other animals also benefited from his care! We rescued Maddie, our Black Labrador, from the kill shelter in in Dane County. We had an amazing 7 years with her. He tried to heal a baby wild turkey that was left behind because it was injured. Another example of his heart!
The profession he chosed was Psychiatric Nursing with the speciality of Adult and Geriatric. He worked both in hospitals and Nursing homes until his open heart surgery when he could no longer work and had to go on disability pay through Social Security. That was in 2002.
Our legal union was June 17, 1995. We were both working. I became physically disabled in 2000. So both being on Social Security was a challenge for our partnership.
Your kind donation will help me administer the cost of the funeral and to assist in helping me pay the hospital bills.
With love and blessings to all who read this,
Jacquelyn Marie Framstad Archer
