Update 11/9: At 14 weeks since breaking my fibula and 11 weeks post-surgery,
my surgeon says I'm doing good. But in his words "It's only been 11 weeks", meaning
BE PATIENT MARGIE!
My current update is that I have started physical therapy once a week and I still have restrictions on distance walking. Due to time on my feet and the leverage I use when doing bodywork, I am unfortunately limited in the number of hours per day that I can give massage. Before surgery I was able to give 3-6 hours of bodywork in a day and at this point, I can only give 1-3 hours. As you might imagine, this schedule is still not enough to cover monthly expenses.
So....I am reaching out to you all again asking for help, whether that’s by donating or by getting my current massage calendar as full of appointments as possible through the rest of the year.
