Help Margaret in her twilight years ❤️️
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Thank you for stopping by to hear Margaret’s story.
❤️ Margaret was taken into Animal Comfort Care Hospice a year ago when she was given 2 months to live by her previous vet. However, with medical management, good nutrition, and a lot of TLC, she smashed that time line.
Margaret was an 11 year old Female Bull Arab and Dane cross who was abandoned at the gates of a shelter. She had to be desexed and had to have breast cancer surgery. She is a survivor! ❤️
Margaret also had spinal issues leading to reduced control of her back legs, as well as her urinary bladder. As such, she needed extra physical support when walking, and more recently needed repeat testing and medications for her bladder infection.
Margaret was on the following treatment plan:
1) Help 'em up harness
2) Grip shoes
3) Antinol (joint support)
4) Anti-inflammatory medication
5) Joint support / mobility diet
6) Pain medication - daily and monthly
7) Urinary medication
Margaret always loved loved loved people, and at 36kg she was still a lap dog right to the very end.
Margaret surpassed all expectations, and (unfortunately) also our budget.
We are currently almost $7000 out of pocket for Margaret’s care over the past year.
In future, we hope to provide care for many others like Margaret. So if we exceed our goal, that excess fund will go towards the care of the next high-dependency patient we take on.
We appreciate your time and your donation. Please do share Margaret’s story ❤️
