Help Sky & Marcía Rebuild from the Fire

Marcía and Sky are gold-hearted souls and fixtures in the Seattle community. They are loved and appreciated by so many! It is our time to extend help.

On the week of August 17, 2020, Sky’s home and farm were suddenly decimated by a Northern California wildfire that launched up the hillside. He was able to get himself and their young dog, Medusa, to safety moments before it would have been too late. While Sky’s survival was a miracle, he is left without food, clothing, or shelter. He has poured everything he had into this homestead over the past several years. Marcía has headed down to provide urgent help - a choice she had to make which resulted in her withdrawal from the Caravan to DC, a multi-city cross-country civil rights journey which she has spent all summer pouring her energy into by forming alliances with local groups nationwide to fight for social justice. She was slated to embark when the fire hit. 

Permission was granted to create and share this GoFundMe, which will help this little family begin to rebuild.
