MARCH FOR MARISA

Hello everyone, March for Marisa is an annual walk held to raise funds in memory of Marisa Auerbach. Marisa was a 22 year old young lady who lived her life to the fullest. She was a heart transplant recipient at the age of 11. She was determined to make a difference with the second chance she was given by her new heart. With that opportunity, Marisa became an ambassador for organ donation speaking at schools and to anyone who would listen. She was also passionate about helping young children. She became a preschool teacher and was in her element until she passed away from Lymphoma in 2012. The funds we raise go to The Make a Wish Foundation, New England Donor Services, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and will help fund a scholarship for Sharon High School students. This year's walk will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 at 8:30am at The Sharon Community Center. 219 Massapoag Ave. Sharon, Ma. 02067 A $30 donation per person registers you and includes a tee shirt.
