On the 11th of October, I’m taking on a personal challenge: To run a marathon (26.2 miles) to raise awareness and support for Autism — a cause incredibly close to my heart.
MY INSPIRIATION:
My 14-year-old little brother, who has Asperger’s syndrome — a form of autism that affects how he experiences the world. He’s incredibly smart, thoughtful, and unique, but he’s also faces challenges with anxiety, communication, and being misunderstood due to his difficulties expressing his own emotions and feelings.
My 7-year-old sister-in-law, who has Global Delayed Development (GDD), another form of autism that affects her learning, development, and day-to-day communication. She’s full of personality and spirit, but she too needs more understanding and support from the world around her.
They are both amazing in their own ways, and they inspire me every single day!
MY AIM:
✅ Raise awareness about autism in all its forms
✅ Break down stigma and build more understanding
✅ Support programs and services that help kids like my brother and sister thrive
Let’s make some noise for autism awareness!

Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to benefit The National Autistic Society, and any donation will help make an impact. Simply sharing this post will go a very long way to raising awareness. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and to so many other people in the UK.
More information about The National Autistic Society: Founded in 1962, we are the UK's leading charity for autistic people and their families. Our goal is to help transform the lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people.
