Manitoba Blizzard Founders' Cup

The Manitoba Blizzard is a Tier 1 Junior B Box (Indoor) lacrosse team from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, playing in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL), based out of Alberta, Canada.

The Blizzard is the only lacrosse team from Manitoba that travels inter-provincially for their regular season..

The Blizzard have had an outstanding season, building on last season's successes as a franchise and have made the "Final Four" championship tournament for the first time in franchise history and for the first time as a Manitoba lacrosse team, bringing pride to our province.

That being said, the Blizzard are also the provincial representative at the Canadian National Championship called The Founders' Cup, to be hosted in Calgary, Alberta August 17 to 23, 2015. 

Funding for the team is based only for the regular season in the RMLL and this is where the Blizzard are asking for your help!

Team costs for 23 players and 5 staff members to attend the Founders Cup Championship include:

Fuel for the bus, driver, miscellaneous equipment, medical supplies, food and lodging. 

Total Cost to send The Blizzard to the Canadian National Championship in Calgary, Alberta = $20,080.00.

Cost to finish the best at a Founders' Cup in Manitoba box lacrosse history = PRICELESS!!

Any contribution to our fund is greatly appreciated and humbly received. All money goes directly to the players for the purposes of attending The Founders' Cup in Calgary, Alberta, August 17 to 23, 2015. Any overages of our goal will be put toward each player for next year's run at Founders' or for the use of community development of lacrosse in Manitoba.
