Every human being on planet Earth has dreams. It's these dreams that keep us going in life so we don't utterly destroy ourselves. Just like any human being, I have dreams. A dream that has been stuck with me more than glue my entire life. Until this point, school has been relatively easy to afford. However, this time I'm proven with one of the most difficult challenges that any human could face. That being getting enough money for college to continue to chase after my dreams . This along with all the stress and anxiety of classes that every student faces. It may sound normal but my dream has been something I wanted to achieve since I was three. My life depends on achieving that dream and if I cannot afford college for this semester and the next one then it will stay a dream trapped inside my mind like a bird trapped in a cage. A dream that could help save lives in our rapidly deteriorating blue and green planet we call home. Climate change is on the verge of hyper drive with no signs of prevention thus someone of this new generation needs to be there to warn people of the dangers of the mysteriously powerful weather. Someone needs to be there to alert the public when seas roar through coastal cities destroying the economic process we made within them. It's someone that I dream of being.  My name is Malik Means, the son of Aaron Curtis Norton Jr. and grandson of Jeanne Norton and Curtis Norton.  I'm raising money to attend school at Penn State University at the main campus University Park to study meteorology.  Going into my junior year in college I'm presented with a significant financial problem. Attending University Park is much more expensive than attending the local Penn State campus  within the Philadelphia metro, which I attended previously for two years. Furthermore, to get the best education in my particular field, its best for me to go to the main campus.  The summer is definitely going to present serious challenges as I try to win scholarships and grants before August. However, any help from the outside will be greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
