Hello everyone!
My name is Mallory! I was born with Muscular Dystrophy and in my 22 years MD has caused me to lose much of my physical strength. One thing that Muscular Dystrophy will never be able to take from me is my love of nature. I want so much to be able to just go outside without fear of turning my wheelchair over or getting stuck! I want to be able to work in my garden, drive in the sand on the beach, go hiking even, but unfortunately all of this has just been a dream. There is absolutely no way that I would ever be able to afford the most amazing wheelchair I have ever seen, the TankChair! If you take nothing away from this, please just appreciate everything that you are able to do independently! Sometimes it is the small things that we take for granted. Stop and enjoy nature, smell the flowers, and actually feel the cool breeze. I appreciate your help more than you know!
