Urgent Help Needed: Fenrir’s Fight Against GI Disease

We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, to ask for your support for our beloved 2-year old malamute pup, Fenrir, who is currently battling a chronic gastrointestinal disease. Fenrir is more than just a pet - he is a cherished member of our family, a loyal companion, and a constant source of joy and unconditional love.

On April 29, we had to rush Fenrir to the emergency vet for sudden severe vomiting and diarrhea that had no apparent cause and obvious signs of blood. He has a history of undetermined gastrointestinal issues that we have been managing since he was a puppy, but this was the worst episode we have ever experienced. At the hospital, we were met with the distressing news that he required immediate hospitalization for gastrointestinal bleed. Fenrir was under intensive care for 48 hours, and the veterinary team worked tirelessly to stabilize his condition.

He is now home with us, but we are still working to manage his symptoms and find the source of the issue. The road to recovery includes an ultrasound and a series of diagnostic tests to uncover the cause of his GI bleed and tailor his long term treatment. The costs are mounting, and while we would do anything to help him, the financial burden is more than we can bear alone.
