The cancer is now in my lungs, liver, bones, all lymph nodes and in my blood….pretty much all over. But thank God it’s not in my brain yet. I am terminal stage 4 and there is not a cure for me.”

We started this gofundme page for a dear friend of ours… Megan Morrow was diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer in 2011. Our goal is to raise as much money possible to help Megan and her girls. Help us make this Christmas the best ever!
Megan is a 34 year old single mother of two little girls. Because of the medical circumstances, she’s unable to work and unable to provide for her kids. Considering the medical bills and just every day needs, she could really use our help!
As you can imagine the emotional battle of cancer in some aspects is even more difficult than the physical. Since that time, she has had countless chemotherapy treatments, surgery, fluid taps, countless number of tests, scans and has lost extremely too much weight since this journey began 5 years ago.
Medullary carcinoma of the thyroid is cancer of the thyroid gland that starts in cells that release a hormone called calcitonin. This cancer has a much lower cure rate than does the well-differentiated thyroid cancers. Chemotherapy and radiation do not work very well for this type of cancer. Treatment at this point is to only slow it down. She chose not to continue chemo. She would rather quality of life over quantity.
Our appreciation is with anyone and everyone. Prayers, moral support and donations of any kind will be gratefully appreciated.

There is no way to show exactly how appreciative we are to all that showed up last night, all the prayers, all the donations, participation, volunteers and help.
