See this beautiful young lady?  She just celebrated a 12th birthday, surprise Luau Party two Saturday's ago on August 12th.  Wednesday, August 16th she was set to have a play date with her girlfriends.  That did not happen.  No first day of school, no solar eclipse celebration and no play date today, August 23.  Mak has been battling a RARE & AGGRESSIVE cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma for over a year now.  On August 19th She has been sent home and currently under the care of hospice.  Mak  is in severe pain...so much so, that emergency radiation was attempted, but her pain so severe it could not be performed.  Mak's parents Shawn & Kristina and sisters are spending Mak's final journey on this earth doing all they can to help her smile, be comfortable, be with each other and love one another.  (Live, Love, Laugh) They have growing medical bills and living expenses.  The additional reality that hospice brings has been overwhelming and unbearable for their family.
