I've started this Campaign for my Bestfriend's Mother/Family who is in need of help through a very stressful and difficult time.

Diana Giesbrecht is a funny, fun loving, compassionate, kindhearted and all around amazing woman. Mother of 4 (3 boys and 1 girl, half of which have left the nest ), 4 grandbabies, and a devoted wife to husband William Giesbrecht. Those of you who know her well will know her as Majah as she has always taken the roll of mother to all us "kids". On September 1st she was taken by ambulance to Fort St. John Hospital for chest pain, and after undergoing an ECG, ultrasounds and CT scans it was revealed that she had a large amount of gallstones. After seeing 2 specialists, the decision was to remove the gallbladder. A total of FIVE doctors/specialists have poked, prodded, hummed and hawed over Diana. On September 8th during another examanation preceeding surgery, some unknown swelling was found. SEVEN days of testing and focusing on only the liver and gallbladder the doctors then find an unknown mass on her left side that is leaking inside of her body cavity. This morning, September 9th, Diana was flown to Prince George Hospital for more tests and to have the unknown mass removed. Now that she is so far from home, her husband and daughter (Sheri Ashdown) are attempting to be by her side but need help to do so. Sheri is a single mother who works 2 jobs to support her child and William is the soul provider for the family. There will be costly medical expenses plus of course transportation, food and boarding costs for Sheri and William. ANY amount is helpful in a stressful situation like this, and we are so unbelievably greatful for any and all help and all thoughts and prayers sent to the family.
