Maika Tukuafu

It is rare to meet someone who changes your life forever. My friend and brother, Maika, was one of those people who passed away in Tonga after a long struggle with health issues. Maika changed my life in so many ways. He was selfless and loved serving others no matter what.

Maika planned to return to Utah on August 15th but died on August 11th, 2023 before making it back home.

On behalf of his family, who are my Utah family, I humbly asked you to join me in helping Maika’s family with the immense costs of his funeral. Currently, the family is trying to bring Maika home, which will be costly. His family is also preparing to have a service in Tonga should he not be able to return to Utah. Again, that will also be quite costly. Any amount you are willing to give in Maika’s memory is so appreciated during this emotional time.
