Hi everyone! My name is Magdalena, also known online as MagdalenaSTL. I’m a local creator and community advocate from St. Louis, Missouri, and I’m launching “Feeding Those Who Need a Hot Meal” to focus on one thing I care deeply about: cooking and delivering hot meals to people who truly need them (especially right now with what’s going on with the government taking away food stamps). This fundraiser is just for feeding people, especially our unhoused neighbors and families who are struggling. Your donations will go directly toward: • Groceries to cook full, homemade hot meals • To-go containers, plates, utensils, napkins, and cups • Foil pans, lids, and packaging to keep food safe and warm • Bottled water or drinks to go with the meals • Gas and travel costs to deliver meals around St. Louis • Basic supplies and equipment needed to safely cook and serve This is the first fundraiser in what I hope will be a long term series of hot meal projects. I’m new to this and still learning, so the goal amount may be adjusted in the future depending on how many people we are able to feed and how far this project grows.
