This campaign is in honour of a wonderful person who was a good friend, loving father and caring husband, Mafios Benjamin, who sadly passed away on 26 My 2016, and in support of his wife and three children who are in dire need of help, in a country that is still new to them.

The Benjamin family, originally from Zimbabwe, relocated from South Africa to Melbourne, Australia in January 2015 in search of a better future for themselves, and more importantly their children.

Mafios was diagnosed with Lymphoma at the beginning of the year, and was making steady progress, but in the last few weeks he had a sudden turn for the worse and very sadly passed away.

Itai and the children will be very grateful for any contributions that you may be able to make to assist them cover their financial commitments in the near future.

I am a work colleague and friend of Mafios, based in Melbourne. The funds raised here are to go directly to Mafios' wife, Itai, to enable her to meet the challenging financial obligations for her and her children. The bank account linked to this campaign is in fact Itai's account.
