A food truck offering Louisiana and Sicilian cuisine. Positioned through out Greater Boston and other areas of New England for events
Madear's Cucina is the joined infusion of food from Louisiana and Sicily. Inspired by my grandmother Martha C. Sullivan who was known by family and friends as "Madear".
Madear: A form of endearment for mom, or mother. A slang that originates from "madir" which came from "ma" which came from "mama"
This new food truck will be the only one of its kind in the Greater New England area. Based in Boston, Madear's Cucina will have the "fix'ins" like New Orleans Po-Boys (fried catfish, fried oyster, fried crawfish tails and fried shrimp). In addition to other Louisiana staples such as Jambalaya , Crawfish Étouffée , Hushpuppies etc. Madear's Cucina will have authentic Sicilian arancine and pastas.
