Hey guys! My friend Rosa and I worked together at Eastvalley Elementary when I worked the after-school program there (my mom works there too!). I was so sad when I heard her family was deeply affected by the storm in Puerto Rico. Her mother, whose name is also Rosa Machado, lives with her husband Anival Machado. They are 77 years old and without electricity since 9/19. Generators are very expensive and, even then, extremely difficult to get a hold of. We were finally able to find a way to ship one to them through an amazing Delta contact (thank you Mahoney family!!) but the generator alone costs $838. Including shipping costs we are trying to raise $938 to get Rosa and Anival, as well as the entire Machado family, electricity again. The generator will help them but also their extended family, about 35 cousins, uncles, and aunts!

I'm doing a Facebook live concert on Sunday 10/15. For just $20, I will cover any song you'd like! Just make sure you leave a request in the comments after you donate. If you can't catch the live show between 1-5pm, you can leave your request here now and you'll still be able to rewatch any time after it's posted to my page!
Here is my facebook link for the show!
NOTE: I'm paying the GoFund me transfer fee out of pocket, so every dollar raised will go straight to the generator. Any extra funds will be used to buy a better model. If we double our fundraising goal, we'll send TWO generators down for another family to finally have access to electricity!
