United for Michelle

I write this on behalf of a dear friend of mine, as well as, many others.  If I had to describe Michelle, I would say that she’s one of the most resilient human beings I've ever met. She's so many things, including intelligent, compassionate, and beautiful inside and out.  She's always showing up for others. Without question and unconditionally she lends a hand to her family and friends.  This journey began for her in 2017. She had discovered a firm and painful lump on the upper left side of her left breast.  The following week a fine needle biopsy was preformed, which revealed news that came as a shock to all of us. With further testing and scans, doctors diagnosed her with Stage 3 breast cancer.  Since November Michelle’s treatment plan has consisted of 24 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, followed by reconstructive surgery.  After she recovers from surgery, she will begin radiation for 6 weeks.     Michelle has fought through this battle with a lot of love and support from her family and close friends. However, as many of you can imagine, this diagnosis and treatment brings immense medical costs and for that reason I am asking for your help. Every single dollar donated, every single ounce, is important and appreciated.  Thank you for your donation and support. Escribo esto en nombre de una querida amiga. Si tuviera que describir a Michelle, diría que es una de los seres humanos más resistentes que he conocido. Es tantas cosas, incluyendo inteligente, compasiva y hermosa por dentro y por fuera. Ella siempre se presenta a los demás. Sin cuestionar incondicionalmente ayuda a su familia y amigos en todo y para todo. Este viaje comenzó para ella en el ano 2017. Había descubierto un bulto firme y doloroso en el lado izquierdo superior de su seno izquierdo. se realizó una biopsia con aguja fina, que reveló noticias que nos sorprendieron a todos. Con más pruebas y escaneos, los médicos la diagnosticaron con cáncer de mama. Desde noviembre, el plan de tratamiento de Michelle ha consistido en 24 semanas de quimioterapia agresiva, un doble másectomía, seguida de cirugía reconstructiva. Después de que se recupere de la cirugía, comenzará a recibir radiación durante 6 semanas. Michelle ha luchado en esta batalla con mucho amor y apoyo de su familia y amigos cercanos. Sin embargo, como muchos de ustedes pueden imaginar, este diagnóstico y tratamiento conlleva costos médicos inmensos y por eso les pido su ayuda. Cada dólar donado, , es importante y apreciado.
