You ever come across these moments when you’re with someone you really care about, and they suddenly do something... Completely mundane, simple, weird, or unexpected, or completely expected... And you don't know why, and you can’t quite put it into words, but all of a sudden life just feels so full? And you start to think that maybe everything in this world is in place solely for this moment to exist?

I’ve been noticing these moments more in the last couple years. Maybe I’m taking things for granted less, or maybe I’m getting sentimental as lounge deeper into my mid-30s. But I’ve started bookmarking these moments in my life. And this song is for them.

I wrote it in about two hours one night when I couldn’t sleep, woke up the next morning, wrote the music, and it was done. Recording was the same - simple, impulsive, added a little 1930s jazz flair, done. I’ve been busy with some acting projects recently so I thought I’d leave it at that and release it. But when I played the song for my friend Max Guillen (director of the MY MEDICINE! music video) we became obsessed with an idea, and felt that it deserved expression. I don’t want to give away too much, but the idea may or may not involve haze, a lot of light, a lot of color, and a single continuous slow-motion shot.

We built an incredible team of people who were excited about the concept, found this old abandoned underground space in Bushwick, and this month we shoot. My last music video was a wild celebration with a thousand ideas pieced together with duct tape, and we blasted it across YouTube (~18K views). This video is a delicate dream, supported by a professional crew and shot with massive preparation and precision on the legendary Alexa Mini camera. And we’ll be submitting it to film festivals around the world.
