As of mid-September 2023, Medical Life Lines Ukraine has delivered 37 aid-filled ambulances to Ukraine, 19 generators and 1 all-terrain rescue crane. We are immensely proud of this achievement and hugely grateful to all of those who have made it possible with their huge generosity - in terms of time, expertise and of course money.

We recognise that the need in Ukraine remains acute. This need is only likely to increase as the Ukrainian people face their second harsh winter under Russia's brutal and unrelenting onslaught which both directly and indirectly targets civilian infrastructure. Healthcare in particular.

Ukraine's long-awaited offensive has indirectly placed more civilians at risk - both as a result of Russian reprisals but also by putting Ukraine's already stretched health service under even greater strain. Our ambulances with their cargo of medical and humanitarian aid are resources that are desperately needed in regions including Mykolaiv, Sumy, Krolovetsk. Everywhere they go they make a real difference to local people - even by transporting food for the dogs who save Ukrainians trapped under the Russian bombardment.

Each ambulance costs some £15k to buy, recondition and deliver. Every donation therefore makes a very real difference to our aim of delivering three further convoys during the winter months, each driven by our wonderful volunteer drivers. This year we have sent convoys in March, May, June, July and September. Our winter convoys are scheduled to depart in October, November and January. Our July convoy was followed by CBS whose report can be seen here:

We are working directly with partners at Ukraine's Ministry of Health who identify the hospitals and clinics most in need our support. If we raise more funds than are necessary to acquire, recondition and deliver the ambulances we will provide generators, life-saving medical supplies and equipment as well as additional vehicles and other items - even armoured vehicles to evacuate civilians, further rescue cranes and equipment and supplies to help rescuers reach civilians trapped under shelled buildings. Everything, in short, that is needed to save lives and ease the suffering of Ukrainians.

We hugely appreciate every penny that you give and work tirelessly to deliver the right aid to Ukraine, to the right places and to the people who can most benefit from it.

Thank you.
