Project #CleanWater

Alhamdullilah! We, Muslims Giving Back, have been BLESSED with the opportunity to be DIRECTLY involved with the Flint (Michigan) water crises (Lead in the water)! We have partnered up with the Broome Center located in the middle of Flint, a Muslim community center, who are distributing clean water EVERY week to its neighbors. We have made a purchase order from Costco for 20 pallets of Kirkland Water bottles.

We also have a team of MGB volunteers leaving from Brooklyn and driving to Flint to DIRECTLY to be involved in the distribution of the water bottles to the needy community of Flint.

How can You help? Easy. Donate to this project and be part of our team who will make sure that EVERY penny of this campaign will go towards helping the people of Flint by providing them with CLEAN water.

We are inspired by the words of our Prophet (pbuh):

“The best charity is giving water (to drink).” (Ibn Majah)

Our Goal: $3650

- 20 pallets of water = $3250

- Forklift Rental = $180

- Delivery Fee = $220

20 pallets of water equals to 47,000 water bottles! Be part of this project and help those in need by providing for them CLEAN water to drink.

Below is a picture of 1 pallet. We will purchase 20 of these inshaallah! That is over 47,000 water bottles! We plan to personally give these cases of water to those in need in Flint, Michigan.
