Hey guys!

My jazz trio, MG3, has been accepted as finalists for Bucharest International Jazz Competition this year.  We are due to go in May, and holy crap, that is soon!!! 

Can I be honest with you? Even though we've worked really hard to raise money through events and special shows, after expenses, our total profit so far from fundraising is still under $1000. I am already coming out of pocket as much as possible for any additional expenses while we are there. The unfortunate news though is that if I can't raise enough to at least cover airfare for my band, then we probably will not be able to go.

Of course, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back, so be sure to check out our reward levels for downloads, CDs, shirts, pre-orders, and more!

It is very important for me to follow through, especially to those who have already donated to support this cause.  I am 100% committed and driven to make this happen. I want to represent Syracuse abroad, on an international stage, and bring well deserved attention to this city that we call home. It is something like this that can bring artists to the next level, without having to move away to a bigger city like LA or NYC.
