Bringing the Montana Folk Festival Back in 2024

Tax deductible
Mainstreet Uptown Butte is the non-profit that has led the organizing and presenting of the Montana Folk Festival in Butte, Montana since 2008. After 12 years, this large three day celebration of music, dance, arts and culture was shuttered after the 2019 season by the COVID pandemic.

Despite drsmastiv increases in costs for travel, lodging, and vendor services, in 2024 we will bring this festival back for attendees from throughout the region after a successful return to performances in 2022 and 2023. In 2024 look for the festival to return July 12-14 and admission will remain free of charge.

Contributions are more important than ever to help defray the $850,000 for tents, sound and rigging crews, portajohns, travel, lodging, meals, and artists fees to bring performers from throughout the country to perform over three days on six stages in more than 60 performances that are offered with no admission charge.

More than ever, we rely on contributions from individuals, businesses and grants to allow us to offer free admission for everyone regardless of their income.

More information about what we plan for the 2024 Montana Folk Festival can be found at www.montanafolkfestival.com or on Facebook at mtfolkfest.
