Moonstruck Astronaut C.I.C. needs your help to continue to deliver co-creative theatre projects in Shropshire!

As MA approaches it’s 6th birthday on the 19th December, this ‘MA Rocket Fuel Fund’ GoFundMe has been launched to raise £1000; vital funds to help keep the Moonstruck Astronaut rocket in orbit around children co-creating arts projects that uplift and unite the local community around Newport, Shropshire and contribute to a healthier, happier and more interwoven society for all.

The money raised will be spent on growing:

• The Newport Youth Theatre indoor project at Cosy Hall - providing subsidised places to all attendees, 50% assisted places to those in need and free access to co-creativity for young leaders and volunteers.

• The Drama in the Forests outdoor cross-arts project at Wrekin Forest School - providing subsidised places to all attendees and free places to those in need (via the HHAH Telford and Wrekin fund or via our own bursary scheme) and free access to co-creativity for young leaders and volunteers.

Whilst helping to cover the running costs of the theatre company, such as:

• Website and email hosting, insurance, venue hire, administration, marketing, office equipment, volunteer t-shirts, volunteer expenses, stationery, resources and props.

Thank you to all those who donated to Hannah’s 40th birthday GoFundMe for the theatre company in August 2020. The £800 raised from that GoFundMe absolutely helped MA start to get rooted in reality – just look how far we’ve come since then – we achieved the first ‘Summer Drama in the Forest’ in 2021 which led to the flowering of both Newport Youth Theatre and continued Drama in the Forests.

Please donate and support Hannah and the growing Moonstruck Astronaut community of dedicated arts professionals and volunteers to continue to provide vital and rare access to inclusive, intergenerational, ingenious co-creative projects in the rural county of Shropshire.
