To many of those who know the Wargamer side of Lyzz, in 2013 I won the Bay Area Open 40K Championships to become the first woman to win a Grand Tournament in a 40k event! Because of this, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the 2014 40K European Team Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia as a member of Team Croatia.
Team Croatia has given the opportunity to attend once again! This year, the tournament will be in Prague, Czech Republic.
I am asking for donations or sponsorships to help represent Croatia in the European Team Championships. I plan to do a full coverage of the trip and of course, the ETC Event.
For any tournament wargamers, hobbists or other lovers of the Game, there will be a ETC 40k Fundraiser Tournament , Hope you can come play or come to watch.
What the cost break down to attend is:
Plane ticket to Zagreb, Croatia: about $1,200
Staying in a Hostel for 9 days: about $200
Food and Transportation: about $200
and GoFundMe takes 5% of anything raised.
For those who do not know what the The European Team Championships (ETC for short) is like the Olympics of 40k. Countries from all over the world come together with an 8 man team to play for the chance to call the country they represent the champion. Typically larger countries will have larger player pools, meaning they will have a better pick of the top notch players (since many players would like to represent their home country). Croatia is a small country located in south-central Europe, and smaller countries like Croatia will have a smaller player pool and will therefore recruit from other countries to flesh out their team. Hence the opportunity to be a mercenary for the Team.
