Our friend Lydia Maria lost her apartment in the fire, and her car, in the building garage, was flooded by water from the efforts to put out the fire. Although we are grateful neither she nor her neighbors were injured, losing her home of 46 years and her car is a tremendous loss to her.
Those of you who know Lydia know her as a tremendous part of the Bronxville Community. Lydia is always positive, by profession she helps people find homes, she can always be seen zipping around Bronxville in her Fiat. I know Lydia humbly and often anonymously helps and supports so many people in the community.
