Lutheran Roboteers - Destination Detroit 2019

Tax deductible
Please help the Lutheran Roboteers, FRC Team 4329 from St. Peters, MO, raise the funds needed to attend the 2019 FIRST Robotics World Championship event in Detroit.   Team 4329 just won the very prestigious FIRST Regional Chairman's Award, which qualifies them for the Championship event in Detroit, April 24-27, 2019.

The Chairman’s Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.

Over the last 8 years, the Lutheran Roboteers have built a K-12 STEM pipeline for students across the greater St. Louis community that has engaged thousands of students in immersive STEM activities.   The recent FIRST Chairman's Award recognizes these outstanding achievements and allows the Lutheran Roboteers to share their story with a World-Wide audience at the Championship Event in Detroit.

This year is the first time the Lutheran Roboteers have won this very special award, and they are now working hard to raise the funds to attend the Championship event.

This campaign is focused at covering part of the event registration and team bus transportation costs, which will exceed $10,000.    Students and families will be covering the costs of food and housing at the event.

Donations to this campaign are collected by STEM2U Youth Programs , which is the 501c(3) corporation that sponsors the Lutheran Roboteers, Team 4329.   As a certified charitable non-profit organization, contributions to STEM2U Youth Programs may be tax deductible.

All contributions collected in this campaign will be dedicated to the Lutheran Roboteers participation in the 2019 FIRST Championship event.
