Our loving Lulabelle needs help

Tonight we underwent a very unfortunate event. Our loving and energetic dog named Lulabelle accidentally came loose from her leash and quickly ran down the street and into busy Chicago evening traffic. She was struck by two seperate cars as we rushed to catch her. God blessed Lulabelle with many angels on the scene of the accident and everyone in the area came to our aid. A young man provided his blanket for us to place Lulabelle onto and used it to lift her into the truck bed of another good samaritan who then rushed us to the nearest Emergency Animal Clinic (BluePearl Veterinary Partners). Lulabelle has multiple injuries but has been placed in a stable condition for the time being. They are monitoring her over night at the clinic and will have an assesment of her injuries and survivability in the morning.

It is always a sad situation when a dollar sign is put infront of you with regards to the life of your pet who is a beloved member of the family. We will do whatever it takes to come up with the means to save Lulabelle and get her on the road to recovery.

We want to be clear on this, we DO NOT want any one donation to exceed $1. We are simply asking you out of the kindness of your heart to donate just $1 to Lulabelle's fund, and then forward this to a dog lover who might do the same.

In the event we raise more money than she needs, the rest of the funds will be donated to PAWS Chicago, the place Lulabelle was adopted from.
