Luke Medrano's cremation expenses

We are Julia, Santos, and Owen. We are known as Monkey Monsters Cosplay. We have been cosplaying as a family for over a year now. On September 5th, we shared the news that a new cosplayer would be joining us. That Cosplayer was our future son, Luke Samuel Medrano. We had yet to share the news of the sex of the baby and were getting ready to make the announcement. But on October 5th, at only 18 weeks of pregnancy, Julia's water broke and she was rushed to the hospital. While at the ER, we were told that Julia has lost more than 90% of her amniotic fluid and that Luke had no chance of surviving.

At 5:20pm the following day, Luke Samuel Medrano was born. He was alive at birth and spent his final moments with us. The hospital pronounced him dead at 6:10pm, but we continued to see a heartbeat and Luke gasping for air. 7:30pm was the last time we saw his heartbeat. It gives us comfort knowing that our son's short time was filled with love. He was able to hear our voices, and feel out touch. He spent his final moments in the loving embrace of his Mother, Father, and big brother Owen.

Julia had previously lost 2 babies, one was at 10 weeks, the second at 12weeks, both were miscarriages. Owen was born at 29 weeks. Because of this, the doctors wanted us to stay over night an run some tests. That allowed us to spend time with Luke till 3:30pm the next day. Those final moments where the hardest. Knowing that everything we had planned for him was lost forever. Since Owen is from a previous marriage, we have an alternating holiday schedule. 2017 was the year we would have Owen with us for all the holidays. Those would have been Luke's first Holidays and we would have spent it together. We planned our first Disney trip and even bought Luke a Lanyard. We planned his first cosplay. Planned the theme to his baby shower. All of that is now lost.

The hospital has given us 7 days to make arrangements for Luke. We decided to cremate his body. But we need help with the expenses. During the whole 18 weeks, Julia did not work at all. She was put on bedrest.

We are asking for help to raise the money for the cremation services. From the places we called, they have ranged from $550, to $950. Many of them providing different services. As of now, we can't afford any of them, and we have a tight deadline. We're not sure if the 7days are business days or include weekends. So we hope we can raise the money fast.

We plan on using the money on the cremation services, and also to create a memorial for our home. So please, if you could help us to raise the money so that we could lay our son to rest, we would be eternally grateful.
