Sometimes life can drop a few "golden nuggets" our way leaving us mesmerized, speechless, dancing in joy, and yet, it can also toss a dirty old brick or two at our steps leaving us painfully despaired! Everyone prefers "gold nuggets" rather than "dirty bricks." Who wouldn't? In a perfect world we would all be tossed golden nuggets and batting grand slams!  However, it is not that easy and so the bricks fall and when they do, they fall hard!

This is exactly what was tossed - no, "slammed" at our dear friend Larry T. Louviere, who we all know as "Lugnut Larry."  A "dirty old brick" invaded his peace and brought him tremendous loss! While in church today his little Honda Accord, a 1996 "Oldie but Goodie," was stolen from the church parking lot! This vehicle was Larry's only means of transportation!!! What a heart-sinking experience to exit a place of worship to discover one's vehicle stolen! It is an invasion of peace, a violation of privacy - a brick thrown by an evil mind! But we are a community of help, a community of good people...we too hurt when a friend experiences loss. 

So I am reaching out to you.  Let us all come to battle and help Larry overcome this heartbreaking situation.  Let's be the  supporting community that we are by donating what we can to get Larry back on his feet.  Let us all "pitch" in and help Larry bat a "grand slam!"  Your generous donation will help to purchase a good little vehicle for him.  For our friend "Lugnut Larry"  show him what a gracious community we ALL are!  WE CAN HELP HIM!
