Raising £300 to thank EHAA for saving my life❤️

Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read a bit about my story.

On the 28th March 2021, my life was unimaginably flipped upside down.
I was riding my motorbike home from seeing family, when I became the victim of a serious hit and run traffic collision. I sustained multiple open fractures, significant nerve damage and most notably, a major degloving avulsion injury to my left foot. Graphic images below ⚠️

At just 17 years old, I was lying in the road, blood pouring, asking the paramedics if I was going to die…

I was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s hospital for emergency treatment and spent the following few weeks in hospital receiving specialist care.

Today marks 3 years since my crash happened.

3 years of pain and surgery and tears… but also 3 years of learning just how strong I am.
3 years of learning who my real friends and family are.
3 years of meeting new people all around the country in an attempt to find new treatments.

3 years of building a new life around my challenges.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the team at the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance at the North Weald base. I finally got the chance to say thank you for all that they did for me. They are all so humble, and I am so grateful that I had the honour of meeting them. They do incredible work and things could have been incredibly different without their swift intervention. It took them less than thirty minutes from when they received the call to the time they were by my side in the road.

To celebrate the 3 year anniversary and to thank the Air Ambulance staff one step further, my dad has kindly volunteered to do the charity cycle ride from London to Brighton to raise money for the amazing cause. The cycle ride will take place in September and as this is the third anniversary, we are hoping to raise £300! Your help and support on this journey so far has been incredible… so could we please give it one more push? ❤️

Today of all days, I also want to say thank you to everybody else who was involved.
I’ve seen over ….. medical professionals so far, so thank you to every single one of you for taking care of me.

Thank you to everybody who came to my aid on the day. Those that called 999, those that kept me calm and reassured me, thank you to everybody who sent a kind message/ card/ gift. Thank you to everybody who has been a part of this journey with me. It’s not over yet, and it probably never will be, but the love and support from everybody are puns me is genuinely what keeps me going

So…

Happy three year healing anniversary

Please donate as little or as much as you can and like/ share to help me reach this goal!

I’ve uploaded some photos of my journey below for anybody who would like to see⬇️

And finally, once again, thank you all❤️
