Lucas Mayer Fund

Lucas has been diagnosed with blastomycosis and is very sick.  He is currently in the helping hands of St. Luke Aurora hospital and has been in their cardiovascular ICU since July 18th.  All proceeds will be given to his family to cover the medical expenses of his treatment.

His family are the nicest people anyone could ever meet. They will always lend a hand and would give you the shirt off of their backs if you needed it. When I was younger they took me in as one of their own, they became a second family for me. Lucas becamebrother to me.

After a camping trip with some friends at wolf river Lucas's lungs became infected with a fungal spore. It started as signs of a common cold and was no big deal. After time he has now landed in the ICU in Milwaukee. He is in an induced coma with a breathing tube and his kidneys are shutting down. The doctors are putting him on ECMO as his last shot and the family is starting to realize this may be his last moments with us.

My goal is to raise anything I can to help them and Lucas. If we get our miracle and he makes an amazing recovery he will be stuck with an enormous amount of medical bills. If he does not recover the family will face a great tragedy and will have to pay the expenses of the medical help and a funeral. We are all hoping for option one of course.

If the worst happens I would love to give them some support as they have helped me so much in the past. I am not expecting to raise millions or even thousands, but every little bit I can earn for them will drastically help.

Please help me help a family that has helped and changed the lives of so many others and has always lend a helping hand.
